A delightfully simple design of bench and one that has a very large storage compartment under the hinged seat and a lovely hand carved ribbons and bow design on the back. Height without finials or centre carving is 86cm. These are supplied loose with dowels in case they are not required.
Shown here in a limed finish with a foam cushion (which we can supply separately for £80 – contact us for more information) Waxed and limed finishes are cheaper than painted ones so please contact us for details.

Finishes and Options

When we paint pieces for you, we let you choose from our 9 basic paint colours – shown in the image gallery – or you may specify your own.
Our 9 House Colours are all neutral tones designed to harmonise with most situations so normally one of these will work! We lightly drag an antiquing glaze over the top to soften the look further and bring out the details of the various mouldings and carvings that we use. The paint and glaze is then given further protection using a number of coats of satin lacquer.

Our colours are shown in the images but we would happily send you a painted sample upon request.
