This is a fabulous set of Four Gustavian Style Dining chairs that are shown in their current state – painted in an aged & distressed Grey paint colour.

If you prefer to purchase the set as they are please do contact us, we may consider selling as they are.

The listed price includes a painting service – each chair will be hand painted in any of our “house colours” shown in the images or you are welcome to select your own paint shade. When choosing from our selection of colours we apply an antique glaze over the paint layer.

A classic Swedish design and perhaps the one most closely associated with the Gustavian Style.

All of the chairs have drop in seat pads that can be easily removed for re-upholstery or cleaning. Approximate height to top of seat pad is 46cms.

Supplied with a plain calico covering as standard or send us your fabric and we will cover for you for an additional £18 per pad. Each chair will require 60cm x 60cm of fabric providing the pattern repeat is not large.

OUR PAINTING SERVICE

We can offer a multitude of finishes/paint styles/colours.
Here at Penn & Bristle we have 9 House colours that are neutral tones designed to harmonise with most situations. If you decided to go with our paint service and choice of colours we also apply an antique glaze, lightly dragged over the top to soften the look further. This really brings out the details of the various mouldings and carvings.

It is also possible for you to specify your own paint colour and style if preferred. The paint finish is then given further protection using a number of coats of matt varnish.

Our colours are shown in the images but we would happily send you a painted sample upon request.
